Default My Son's First Buck

I had the distinct pleasure of being with my son this fall when he got his first ever buck. Although it's not 'one for the books', it's a trophy in his eyes (and in mine, I must admit). We've hunted a lot of territory over a long time waiting for this day. My son, Kevin ('Kaveman' on ifish) has turned out to be a terrific hunter and best of all, my hunting partner. A dad couldn't be more proud than I am. My dream has come true. By the way, one shot, early morning, low light, across a clear cut to the edge of the timber. Dropped him in his tracks. Nice shot, if I do say so myself.

It is good to see Father and son spending quality time together. I also like to see people passing hunting on to our younger generations

Good Shot!

Way to go Kevin. Now that you got the first one out of the way you'll defintely start whacking em' every year now. Congrats! I've shot more than 50 big animals hunting with my Dad along on the trip and I do believe he's proud of every one. I am forever grateful for him and the rest of my family getting me into hunting. Kris.

That's something he'll never forget and he'll want to be there with his son for his first buck.
