What are these e-mails for?????

I keep getting these, I don't open them but was wondering where they are from and who are they from

?????
At first I thought they were from the men in black or the CIA but I not on their payroll

Are these coming in as attachments with your e-mails?
If they are discontinue opening them, very likely you are opening script to a trojan horse or other kind of virus on your computer.
Recommend running alll of your spy-ware and anti-virus program, delete e-mails no essential, defrag and disk scan.
Just my 2 cents worth, you may choose to disregard any advice if you so choose.

If you aren't opening them, how do you know what's in them? Are you holding your monitor up to a light to read through the email envelope?

The original poster was probably referring to the preview option within Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express. Please remember that this DOES open the email and as such can compromise your machine if there is a virus in the email.

As always, make sure that you are up to date with your Outlook updates and your antivirus protection.

My wife is thai, sometimes she thai emails in Sanskrit, and if she has not opened them corretly (with the right software etc) it comes up looking like that.

Maybe someone is sending you a character based message, rather than a phonetic message . Like a Message in Kanji or Sanskrit or in Chinese Characters, and your Mail is not set up to read characters.

This can cause problems with letter assignment, and in doing so will display odd looking messages.

I agree ...very likely a foreign language. If you install the fonts for the other language, whichever it is, it'll suddenly look more legible, but just as non-understandable!

If you are using MS Outlook (rather than Outlook Express), then 'customize' the tool bar and put the preview mode on/off icon on the tool bar so you can turn preview mode on and off with a quick click of the mouse ...I leave it off 99.999% of the time, but will turn it on if I've cleaned out the inbox. Also, do a web search on "Outlook" and "Peek". There's a little plugin out there that you can use to peek at email without 'opening' it and without interpreting any HTML or other junk ...you get a raw text view of the email without the risks associated with opening an email. I love it and use it all the time to check suspicious looking emails ...saves me from losing something by just deleting it.
