L&C WMA - I\'ve Never Been, Want to go!
I've hunted Sauvis & the willamette for years, but it's getting a bit crowded for me. I'm no green horn when it comes to bird hunting, just havn't been out to L&C yet & DK where to go. I'm Looking for some advice or a buddy to show me around the Lewis & Clark Wildlife area. I have about 6 doz duck dekes, 4 doz honker dekes, a dog & a 14ft aluminum boat w/ 20hp kicker & access to a 20' North river Jet sled if need be. - Just no knowledge of the area. - anyone interested in showing a guy where to go? - I'll buy breakfast & shells!

I have hunted L&C for 6 years, got a 19 North River would be willing to guide for 1/2 gas money. Your litte boat would be okay out there if it's not windy and if it's camo'd real good. My NR needs more work on camo, but still get limits and handles the conditions that can come up.

TT, I pratically live down there every chance i get. I would be more than happy to show you around. Bring a hand held GPS and i will show you some blinds and give you some knowledge about tides and the do's and don't's of L & C. Once you get it figured out you will love it. Rules are no dogs though as I have a kennel full and like to get mine out every chance that I can. I have all the decoys we need also. Give me a yell I usually hunt in Thurs. and Fri. some Saturdays.

Thanks for the invite! Can either of you go the weekend of the 19th. I have to work during the week so weekends are my only option. If there is room I'd like to bring My old man along too. He lives on Sauvis & is tired of the crowds as well. (That & he's alweys good for furnishing the blind with sodas & snacks) Let me know what your schedules are like & let's GET DEM DUCK!

Hey if you guys ever have a spare spot I would love to tag along as well. I have wanted to go down there but have never made it to hunt. I heard that there were Islands that were closed and don't know which ones and have not wanted to chance it in the dark.
