Default Michigan Fishing (Pics)

Below are some photos of my brother in law on the Muskegon. This is the same BIL who I took out on the Deschutes a few weeks back. This was the day after Thanksgiving and a balmy 15 degrees on the river. I get to fish this the week before Christmas! Can you say "Spey?!"
Midwest Steelhead - Look at the fly these guys used! Talk about HUGE!

NICE Brown!

Father In Law and Guide - Big River for spey casting!

I just like seeing fishing photos and thought you folks might also.

I miss that river soo much. The betsy was always better for steel but the Muskegon was always so much fun. I fished that river everyyear for 18 years. Then I moved out here. I have yet to find fishing as good. By the way Does your buddy ever get up th the pier Marquette. Them winter browns push 20 lbs on that river. Scary big.

Like this one? Not me - a friend of my brother in law's. I believe this one was taken on the Marquette. My brother in law does get to the Marquette every so often. Has a blast with it.
Sorry - this was on the Manistee...

Do they use slinkys on their fly gear? I know a lot of guys back there do. And for the record I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
