Default Tilla, don\'t faint!!!!

Well, I've gone to the dark side. Picked up a 7 week old "BLM" (lab puppy) last night as a Christmas gift for my daughter. I wanted to call him "Larry", but she named him Bud. Guess that works. Tilla you'd like the breeding, somewhere around 652 AA points in the last 3 generations. Out of FC/AFC Shoot Scoot'n Paddy and LaCinderue (a qualifed AA out of FC/AFC Cracker of Club Mead and FC/AFC Jazztimes Coal Black Cinder). Lean Mac on top and bottom, Shooter is in there too. Bred by a good friend and training partner, one heck of a bit@h line. He's kinda cute, for a black dog. Waiting for my chessie friends to call me a traitor, but it is too nice of pup to pass up.

So the black hole of training time is in front of me, and man, I forgot how much noise a puppy makes on its frist night away from the litter. Better go get more coffee.

Wow  , heroin, tobacco and Chessies are the toughest things to quit! Congratulations! And I see you made the change while you still had a few fingers left to type this message!
Hows "Bob" feel about this addition or is he giving the pup the "cool, looks like kibble" look.
I'll have to tell Steve and Maryjo about this.
It'll be awhile before you get started on some swimming lessons in E Idaho, the water goes clink this time of year. Better have Bob sit out on the ice for awhile to melt a pond.

Tilla:

Bob's giving me that "what is that look" and doing his best to ignor Bud. Did bust him in the backyard playing with him though! Little guy is pretty smart, already knows how to kennel, now if he would just sleep all night! Like having a dang baby again, at least I don't have to change diapers.

Pete phoned and chewed my a$$ up one side and down the other, thinks the dog should be named Benidict Arnold. But we took the pack of chessies (all 3) grouse hunting in the snow yesterday, they had fun and I got two, Pete one.

I'll be out your way to pick up a driftboat I bought, I'll let you know when. Then you can take me fishing!!! Ducks have been slow, the mild temps are keeping the water "soft", and they are just rafting up and not moving. Looks like I'll go after steelhead this weekend, and maybe look for a chukar or two.
