Default NE Trask - 214F2 son's first hunt

My son is going on his first "high probability of getting an elk" (cow) hunt this January, NE Trask #2, all of January up around Hagg Lake/Stimpson country. I've helped a couple buddies on this hunt so I know some good areas. We pretty much hunt it as a "meat hunt", check out a few high-chance clear-cuts and then we have one "honey hole" behind an accessible but locked gate where elk frequently hang out longer. If anyone is willing to share any info, I'm specifically looking for:

1. Additional accessible areas behind locked gates where elk tend to hang out longer.

2. Any private land owners that might be willing to call if they have elk on their property (definitely worth a share of the meat).

I understand someone's reluctuance to publish this information, it might be preferable to do it via a private message. I will definitely keep anything offered "in the vault" and would be willing to share my secrets on a "trade" basis. I don't see us hunting here much, he got this on a youth 1st time tag and in the future he'll probably go to eastern Oregon with me.

Thanks,
Biederboat
