Default Speaking of glasses (ehunter) what do you use?

I wear glasses, what a pain, but last year I bought the gimick anti-fogging solution at the Sportsmen show, guess what? It works. That stuff kept my glasses clear all day, my glasses would get wet from sweat but they would not fog! This year was a good test with the mornings being near freezing and me humping it up a 1/2 mile of steep hill, pushing my bike! Anybody else have a product they use?

I got Kleer Vu- Anti Fog cleaner at the sportsmen show. I have fought these glasses for years, this was the first time I didn't have to worry or fuss. I would put my bino's up and my left lenses would fog first, what is up with that? I am going to put this stuff on all my glass.

Sold.
I'll try it. I have fought fogging glasses for years. I've tried lots of products and none are worth mention.
Nothing, and I mean nothing worse than to have your glasses all foggy after a bit of exertion when you are hunting.

RA,

I am in dire need of a product just like you described. However, do you have anything for a contact or email address? Sometimes when I purchased a product at a "show", there seems to be no way to get back in touch with the company. Hopefully this is not the case here.

BTW,

I was in Canada hunting yotes last week and the guide highly recommended a product called "Cat Crap". No kidding! I found it on the Web and ordered it, but the messages I got back about the "order status" were not too encouraging, so I may need your stuff...and soon.

Gee, maybe I should sign up with those folks to be a spokesman. I don't know how to get more, except go to the sportsmen show and hope they are there. Luckily I bought the big bottle and got the little day pack bottle for free! I just might have enough for life. You guys have that problem, one eyeball sweats more than the other?

I'll send a PM. Not sure you can get ahold of them at the address on the bottle.

Hey just do a search, you should come up with a website with the same name. That looked like the product to me! KleerVu

Here's my proof. I set my glasses outside for a few minutes. I had treated the right lenses, and left the left lenses untreated. Brought them in and breathed real hard on both lenses, right lenses last!

I have used Cat Crap and it works, kinda. I would love to find something that lasts longer. I will have to look up the Kleer Vu stuff.

BTW,

Cat Crap can be found at most ski shops. I use it on all my scopes and have not had an issue with them fogging.

Kleer Vu ? I was just reading the posts and was interested what it was you were talking about, then looked up and noticed a bottle sitting on my desk "Kleer Vu Anti-Fog cleaner"is this the same stuff?Seems I have a life suply of it  They keep us in stock at work for safty glasses, all the humidity asociated with paper machines and such, and since I wear prescription glasses I keep a little bottle handy all the time.Pretty good stuff, but when you go from 40 degree outside temp to 120 degree paper dryer it tends to fail but does clear back up shortly. It also tends to leave kind of a blueish residue after a time.

Rank what do you mean lets talk to ehunter about glasses are you hinting at some thing

I take my glasses off to hike in so they don't get too messed up and I still take them off for glassing. I only need them early and late in the day. All though this is how bad I am at loosing glasses this year while hiking though some reprod my glasses fell of or got brushed and I didn't even realize until we started to stump shoot with blunts. I have lost one pair each for the last 3 years. My partner says it is the donation to the hunting gods. I use the granny cord thing is there something better? I can't get contacts in I even asked my doctor to set on me to force them in. Ah but in the rain I may try your suggestion I have some I bought down there a few years ago not sure how they will work on plastic lenses. Was this stuff that looks blue in a little bottle?

That be it. Give it a try, sure seems to work for me.

Yes ehunter, the stuff has a bluish tint to it. So that's why you went to the eye doctor, you lost your glasses, again!

Yea will I am off to see a hunting shrink then.. I think I must be loosing my marbles... I don't even need all my fingers to count the deer, Maybe in January I can start to use both hands. Best count ever for me was back in the early 80's I saw thirty deer total in 2 cuts. back in my youth when I could still see.
