Lots of tent opinions out there.

here are my thoughts.
If you like the Quick Camp tent, check out a place called Raineer Industries (pretty sure of the name) in Washington, They make the quick camp tents for them, and sell tents in a couple sizes for less money than Quick camp. You have to select from like three sizes and you get the stove jack etc. where they put it.
I bought a 14 x 18 wall tent having never stayed in one before. I bought a salem tent and awning tent in the polaris material. It is half polyester and half cotton, a little heavier than cotton but a lot more burn proof. The selling point was when they took a sample of each material and layed a burning paper match on the material and the cotton went up in flames and the Polaris left a little black mark after the match burned up. I was really concerned with the tent burning on me, as I have heard a lot of stories about them catching on fire.
After having stayed in several wall tents now, I would definately get the stove pipe out the side, no problem on getting the stove to vent with a little less vertical stove pipe. Each roof stove jack I have seen, has burn holes around the stove jack, from when somebody kicked the stove, or added wood to the stove and a bunch of embers went up the chimney and then fell back down on the tent.
If I had do it over again I would buy the evolution material. Cost more but is lighter and has better insulation properties. Very nice tent material.
My hunting partner has a quick camp tent and frame, and it is pretty nice.
I built a 1 inch emt conduit frame, and wish I would have gone with aluminum frame. My frame with an 8 foot porch weighs about 200lbs which is to much to lug around. Skip the porch and just get the aluminum frame, your back will thank you.
