Default Ohhh, CRUD!!

Lost my little carrier with my tags in it!! I was in Gold Beach this TurkeyDay...I think I was coming back down off the top of the hill, after another un-eventful day of glassing draws looking at does, and it slipped out of my pocket somehow. Had my deer & elk bowtags, Willy unit hair deer tag, and my cat and bear tags!! Was going to fill the hair tag today (last day), glad I didn't go out, shoot first, and look for the tag second! Bear is done as of today as well..

But, I was planning a full three-day weekend for the end of the bow seasons..... Guess I have to go directly to the nearest ODFW office (Salem) to get replacements for big game tags, right?

BTW, never saw anything I really wanted to shoot down south. Weather wasn't really good for hunting until Saturday, but thats the day we left. Saw a few spikes and a BUNCH of does, wanted a big rack. Won't be picky this last weekend, any hair is good enough.

Last time I had to replace a tag I just went to the local ODFW rep. Things may have changed, but not that I am aware of.

Rogue...last year we went to Ladd Marsh in La Grande for pheasant and my buddy had forgotten his tags. We were able to get dupes at the Bi-Mart. It isn't free, but it seems that any point-of-sale can give you new tags. They have all of your info in the computer. As for the controlled hunt tags, not so sure.

aha!

Controlled hunt tags must be replaced at an ODFW office, general season tags can be replaced at a *** dealer!!

Lucky me, though.....mom's neighbor called, he had found the tags when he was chasing a loose cow up the hill!! Be here by Wed.
