Christmas Shopping
How many of you married men go shopping with their wife for Christmas? I would rather pull my toe nails out than put up with holiday shoppers, and she seems to think all husbands go.

Re: Christmas Shopping
My wife works retail and hates to shop anywhere for anything at anytime.
On the other hand I am a shopper and shop everywhere and for everything at anytime.
Today
$17 Thriftway
$165 Fred Meyer
$98 Fishermans
$74 Gi Joes
$29 Pet Smart
$11 Petco
And it is only a little after 5
Still time to go out after dinner.

Re: Christmas Shopping
Rules for the next month:
1) Fear the mall
2) Fear driving near a mall
3) Fear your wife at the mall
4) Fear the Friday morning just go down there at 5:30 am and get me that (chose product) from (pick store).
I guess I live in fear of the holidays.

Re: Christmas Shopping
I love to shop with my wife as long as it is not for groceries or cloths for her.

Re: Christmas Shopping
You mean earn all the money so she can spend it - that's me. Or do you mean go to the mall and actually participate - uuummm! Welllll! Lets just say
There has got to be something else to do - get a filling at the dentist without novacaine - or how about cleaning the garage when its 10 below zero out.
If Washington Square had a Cabelas or a Fisherman's Marine Supply - maybe just maybe I might go - but I have to deal with the glazed eyed shoppers on my way to the club every night between now and Christmas - the last thing I'd want to do is actually join them - Heck I can't even stand going to Winco on Sunday.
Shop on line keep Brown in business

Re: Christmas Shopping
OK, I concur with the fabric store - I HATE the fabric store - childhood trama - unless I'm looking for stretchy thread. That said, I'll cowboy up and admit that I have a blast Christmas shopping with my wife. We make our gift list beforehand then go on speed shopping marathons. It's kind of a Christmas tradition for us. So there. I enjoy it. That doesn't make me a bad person.....does it?
