Thompson center and lyman make one and traditions makes a 50 cal called the fronter scout. Get a catalog from the Gun Works in Spring field Oregon they have a lot of stuff in it.The phone number for the Gun Works is 503-741-4118. If you want a realy good catalog there is the Dixie Gun Works in Tennessee the phone is 1-800-238-6785. I have ordered from both they are great, and all black powder. I have a Lyman Great Plains 54 cal. it shoots great but a 50 cal.would shoot just as good i would think. Hope that helps you out.

Tradition's aren't bad. I think the T/C and Lyman are better. I shoot a T/C and my Dad has a Lyman. My next one will be a Lyman, without a doubt the best bang for your buck

If your really thinking about getting a Traditions, get one locally. You really need to look over the workmanship first. T/C and Lyman have pretty good quality control so I wouldn't hesitate to order one from a catalog or over the net.
