Re: Hardy Angel reel
nice looking reel. i had to go with a hardy for the 4 wt cane rod i built last year, and thought about the angel. i know it is a lot of money to spend for a reel, but when you spend 80 hours building a rod from scratch, i say get the reel you want! i ended up with this one:
easily my favorite reel...looks even better next to a carp!

Re: Hardy Angel reel
Nice reel Montana! I think it looks better next to a steelhead and on a twohander.

Re: Hardy Angel reel
next time i get out the my local pond i'll take a pic of a carp next to not only that beautiful little reel, but a nice little 4 wt perfectionist stew! heh heh...just kidding stew...i wouldn't risk breaking any of my cane rods on carp. not to say i haven't risked it in the past, but i've learned!
love that reel snap-T. i have not joined the two hander craze yet, but it looks like fun.
