Riverside Dr. WillammetteR. Greenway Closed

I was in Corvallas yesterday & went by the willammette river greenway off of riverside dr. ( Near Parrots TV. & Appliance) to check the water level for future hunts. There was a NO Firearms sign and a no tresspassing sign. I have been hunting out there since '96 & allways had a great time nailing woodys, phesant, quail and geese. Does anyone know what is going on???? the No Firearms sign had a TRUAX logo on the bottom. the regulated hunting area signs were still up, as was the no shooting 400 yds from the entrance. What Gives. Needless to say I am Deeply saddened to see one of my favorite hunting spots dissappear.

That would be so that the Truax people can have their own private hunting area. They probably own property down there but cannot stop you from access to the river. It is a common practice among landowners to pull something like that. Just a guess.
