Default Refinishing Bamboo Fly Rods?

I inherited a few bamboo rods from my grandfather and feel like it's a crime for them to just sit and gather dust in their cases. I was considering having my favorite refinished so I could fish it again (safely).

There really aren't any "priceless gems" in the group. Just some workhorse Granger's and such. I was wondering who, local, refinishes bamboo fly rods? Or should I send one out of state to someone who specializes in refinishing?

Whatcha all think?

Default Re: Refinishing Bamboo Fly Rods?

Unless they have some real value I would just hang them on the wall.
It would be cost prohibitive to refinish them unless they are valuable and worthy of refinishing
There are some Grangers that are of value. Alot depends on condition of the cane.
