Garibaldi Lings Saturday Pics added
Tuna Time and I are headed out to the deep in search of those lings Mark Mc was talking about...at least we hope so.
Anyone else going out of T-Bay this weekend?
I did get a good report about the ghost hole the last two days...for what ever that is worth.

Re: Garibaldi Tuna Saturday
Going to be there for crabbing in the bay. Long way to go for lings but it sure does sound tempting given the forecast just for a nice day on the big blue. Got one coming with me that gets real seasick real easy so I'll be staying in the bay. Good luck out there!

Beautiful ocean this morning...Tuna Time is out about 5 miles running at 28 mph...Sweet Louise is about to head north to Astoria.
Lings in the ghost hole...that would be funny!

Re: Garibaldi Tuna Saturday
Bud - do you have the boat in Astoria now? We fished the canyon today (dumped pots in the river on the way out). Not much fish (turbot, sharks), but what a nice ocean. Crabbing was very good.
I wouldn't mind looking at that fine machine!

Re: Garibaldi Tuna Saturday
Dean the Sweet Louise is in Warrenton...private slip that is gated.
We hammered the ling cod two days in a row...Dick took Sea Fox and I out on Sunday for my b-day and we pounded on the lings! Pics coming...limits by 10:30...all nice fish!
Great ocean both days!

Re: Garibaldi Tuna Saturday
Hey Bud! My bro-in-law said he ran into you last sunday. He said your lings were hawgs!! We fished sat, sun at the north jetty and got one king on sat. In fact it was on one of the rods you sold me! Good karma for that rod. Glad to hear you slayed them lings and look forward to the pics.

Re: Garibaldi Tuna Saturday
Well, not many gated communities in Warrenton, so I'm sure I can find it. I will have to follow you guys out of Garibaldi sometime. What brings the boat up our way?

Re: Garibaldi Tuna Saturday
Dean it's those green condos on the left as you're headed out towards the Columbia...the condos are not gated but the ramps to the docks are. I have to bring the SL back up the Columbia to get it to Portland.
Dave congrats on the new boat! And the Chinook!
Rick you're very welcome and thank you for visiting the tuna garage sale!

Tuna Time...Dick you're a great guy and thanks again!

Sea Fox took this picture during the tuna tourney in the Sea of Cortez...I thought it was worthy of sharing.
