Default 4 point buck

We have a 'deer hole' that the deer come and go from in the back yard so....
My wife and I are standing at the kitchen window early in the morning last week and a 4 point walked out and right up to the house, maybe 15 feet away and looked at us. Then it walked the length of the home looking at us as we walked from window to window following it. Guess it's that time of the year when they get real dumb. I might have been able to call it a 5 point, it had one other little spike coming off both sides down low on the antlers. It was perfectly matched on both sides. Largest set I've seen in my 54 years in Clackamas county.

I still have a late Willamette Unit tag. I'll make you an even better deal. I keep the horns and a little meat, you keep the rest!

I only want a photo and I already live in Oregon City (and know how to keep my lip zipped...usually). Is it possible to photograph this buck?

Thanks for all the great ideas on what to do with this intruder..liver sandwitch.

Bill...It was the one and only time we ever seen this big guy on the property so I don't think you would ever get a planned chance at a picture.

Bill, I just had a thought about getting a photo. There's a buck rub that's used heavely on my property that you could set up a camera with a trip wire to get a photo. The bucks have used this rub area for years and they keep tearing up my ornamental shrubs. I've seen three different bucks around the house this year.

I have a trailcam, can I bring it down and set it up at the traditional rub?

Right now it's deployed at a spot up the Clackamas River. I had it just north of Sandy a couple weeks ago trying to get pics of a massive bull I'd seen at work, but all I got pics of were a bobcat and coyote.
