Good find. A lot of good info.
He hit the nail on the head with SCOUTING....location is key. Knowing you public area is also very impt.
I am a man of big spreads...so I disagree with him a bit in that regard

.
Guess I like to believe my calling is more effective than 10 percent

...but it may be because I try to be very vigilant in the blind. Although it occurs plenty, I try and mark birds long before they are in range....and they usually get hit with the call. Does that mean my calling brought them in...definately not, but it is one more tool that I bring to the table.
Speaking of tools...his tip on the blind gear is soooo true. You will hardly ever use it, but it is nice when you need something (ie. knife, extra tubing for the spinner, or a spare reed). I usually don't bring these added extras...but on occassion I wished I would have.
HuntNFish...the rubber band tip is ok IMO, but I don't use them. In cold weather they break, and I've found them to be more of a "Pain" then a help. My buddies are always having to replace theirs...just one more thing to do.
Thanks for the read.
