Who's written (wrote?) a book before?

I find myself in a position of having to compile from memory, daytimer, various notes, files, reciepts, paper napkins, etc. a large volume of information into a fairly concise summary. I'm thinking when I get this all organized I'll probably have a novella at least. It's the organized part I need a little help with.

Any body have experience organizing something like this? Any thoughts in general?

Wrote a couple computer training manuals, it was helping DOS based users move to Windows - start with the basics and build. What is the subject that you are covering?

Go back to what your teachers taught you - note cards and outlines....they will help tremendously.

No...... but I slept in a Holiday Inn Express before. Send me all your stuff and I'll get started on writing that book.

Just kidding. My wife just finished a book from notes, essays and articles that she had written over the years. It really just takes time organizing your story outline to the stuff you have written before. The other thing I observed was that she had to edit and re-write a lot of material. It looked like really hard work.
