Default Boaters certification

I just finished the on-line boaters course and printed out my certification card. I hear other people talking about pay $10 for their card. Am I missing something?

Thanks,

That certificate just shows that you passed the test. You still need to send a copy of the certificate, the completed application, and a check for $10 to the Oregon State Marine Board to get your card.

yep, what brshooter said, that's just a temp card.
Permanent card is 10.50.

I just got my perm. card too. the card is actually the consistency of a credit card (thick plastic). I printed the pdf form off the OMB web site and mailed it in and it took about 2 weeks to get to me. the temp card will suffice until you get the real mccoy.
