As moderators and admins, we work really hard to try to keep banned members from reregistering on ifish.

PLEASE don't mention them here, as they feel the need to defend themselves, and are unable. It starts a flurry of registrations that we need to sort through, identifying IP addresses, and trying to figure out who is who.

Let's not give anyone any fuel to try to register on ifish. It's just not a fun game for any of us.

Thanks, and remember the rules: "Don't mention banned members on ifish." It just creates too much trouble for all of us.

Next you know, you'll be planning a trip with a new member and low and behold, you'll meet up with a bad captain who you didn't know was banned member "xxxx".

Banned Member = Bad Captain?

I haven't been following who has been banned so I'm not sure exactly what was said by who etc., but it looks like You might be letting this get to you more than it should.

I have my own opinion of what constitutes a "Bad Captain" but I have been trying to keep that to myself :grin:

It must be frustrating to have to "run patrol" on the boards but it might help to remember that 99.9 percent of the people here wish you nothing but the best.

It's highly recomended that you meet your Captain in person at a Salty Dog or Ifish function......and don't except email invites from non-posters!
