WHAT? Shooting already?

It's just starting to get dark here and a big squall just went through and I just heard a couple of shots from what sounded like a magnum rifle up the canyon across the way. Hmmm? A little late to be target shooting, and in a downpour no less. I'm guessing somebody just got their bull a little bit early.

Same here. I was out in the Trask today and heard two shots pretty close together. Couldn't pinpoint where it came from but on my way down the hill OSP was on their was up and stopped me and checked my rig. They also inquired about the shots and I told them my story. I hope they find the shooters. BH

Oh that was nothing. It sounded like a war up my way. Probably a couple hundred rounds! That was from about 1:00pm till dark.

We were up out of Buxton last night and there were several shots out there also , about an hour before dark. We seen the truck go back there. Good area to hunt can't imagine someone just messing around unless they were trying to chase the elk to the other side which is Dairy Creek area.
