Default Any boat ramps near Deer Island

Do any of you ifishers know of an unimproved or decent boat ramp near Deer Island other than Goble or St. Helens?

How big of a boat do you have? Do you need an actual ramp to drive down? You could carry a canoe or kayak into the water from Pixie Park in columbia city there is also a private ramp in columbia city that you may be able to use if you ask the owner who lives right there.

Unless you could carry that boat down a couple of sets of stairs at Pixie park i think you are out of luck the closest ramp would be goble or straight across the river from deer island in WA i think there is one. Might be a faster drive to get there than driving to goble. Are you hunting or fishing?

Pan Fry,
I have never been to Goble, just is,sometimes I don't like to return to a ramp which is over 3-4 miles away in heavy chop which usually accompanies good shootin days! I get enough of that out on Russian Island at L&C.

I think there's a ramp at Kalama, just across the river. Don't know about legalities of landings and licenses, but I think you could hunt Oregon with an Oregon license. Hunting licenses are not reciprocal...I can check...Oh, and you might drive down to Prescott Beach at the nuke plant and short of Rainier, but I dunno if there's a ramp.
