Clear Lake out of Gov Camp

I tried to fly fish this lake from a Pontoon Boat several years ago...wind was SOOO bad I had to give up.

Anyone ever fished it with any success from a Pontoon Boat with a fly pole??

Last I checked it was practically dry! I would doubt that even if the lake filled in that it would hold many (if any fish). I heard that it dried completely, but I never saw it for myself.

I was there late last summer and It was literally a puddle. Try timothy lake down the road off the giant T shaped dock near tha dam at early morning or just as it is getting dark. Fish the river below in between for some nice rainbows and brooks. Its a blast!

Opps...should have said that I PLAN to fish it next year and wondered if it was worth the trip

I fished Clear lake in Sept. Or should I say I attemted to fish it. Sunk to my Crotch in mud.

Fish it spring and summer no problem

where do all those fish Go that's what I would like to know.
