Default Ruger .357 mag

I have never own a .357, but I thought I wanted some thing all a round pistol.
I got with my dealer at work and now have a Ruger .357 4inch.
New in the box from Ruger $357.00 + 9.00 check.

Now went out and at 50 yards out of box, on the paper. One nice pistol, but loud.

I think it well stop anything needed to be stoped.

Cool, I knew you'd like it. What did you think of the trigger?

I have the SP101 in .357 with the bobbed hammer with the 2" barrel in stainless. Loud, it is but at 25 yds, it's pretty good. Things I like about, the short barrel length, pretty small for a .357, I like the bobbed hammer and no safety. Very pleased with it !

Kingfisher, I pick up the GP 100, fits the hand just right.
Thinken on how to keep the rosewood inserts clean and in show condition.

Also it easer to carry, under my vest when out fishen or in the woods, or around town, proubly would'nt use it in town, but when the report is, it's snowing on the mountain, well we have the flakes down here.(HAHA)
Just love it. RIVER-RAT.

Them GP100s are nice. I was looking at one that someone did a little custom job on. Very sweet looking pistol. I almost picked one up but did not have the money at the time to be getting a bunch of custom work done on it.

PD...the SP101s are nice

I can't remember what all the guy did to it but one thing is for sure he had a scope mounted on it.
Think it had an 6 inch barrel with a scope and there was some other stuff done to it but what I really liked was the scope on it. The set up he had was just perfect.

The .357 is notorious for muzzle blast. If you want to make it worse...try handloading. Because I can't resist the temptation to achieve higher velocities, I have managed to elevate the noise level to actual physical pain.
