Default appraiser?

anyone know where i can get a old dagger appraised it is pre ww II

has 3 lions running on the blade

had 2 lions biting each others throats on the end cap

it appears to be bronze with gold inlay.

You could try West Coast Antiques, Inc. Ask for Lenord Smith. <AUP Violation removed>. This is a client of mine that has the most extensive collection of collectable books and information that I have ever seen.

He does a lot of insurance claims work for antiques that have been stollen or lost in a fire.

i have researched it for a little over a year now and only other one i can find that looks the same is in a museum.

You could also contact the museum you saw it in. If you sent them pictures they might be able to give you more information.

i saw it on a slide taken at a museum have not personally seen it in a museum.
