Default fish finder transduce mount question

Not sure what this stuff is called....don't laugh at the newbie

So, I just got a new fish finder for my boat. The old trasducer cable goes through the transom, and some type of goop is all around the cable to seal up the hole....my question is, what is this goop called, so I can get some tomorrow to mount the new transducer.

Thanks in advance...

What does the goop look like? It's probably RTV silicone. I would recomend using Dow 5200.
