KF, The one we all use is Wilsonville vet clinic which is the exit just past 205 going south on I-5. Dr. Caulkins is the best in the area I think. Whenwe have serious issues we always make the 2 hour drive out to his place.
Happy to hear you and drake are getting along so well he is going to be a beauty when he matures.

Default New Lab Pup!!

We got home last night with our new lab pup from Capin Dan. Drake is 11 weeks, and he didn't even keep us up at all last night. The kids must have tired him out from playing. He already is retrieving ducks in the yard like a pro. I would post a picture but I am not computer literate. Question: is their a good Lab Vet in the Portland area? Some specialize in certain types of dogs. Any help is appreciated.

We have taken both of our Labs to Vista Pet Hospital off of Canyon. Tell Scott the Vet that "Ted" sent you - great staff, great care.

He doesn't specialize in anything particular, but he has given our dogs great care. He does work with lots of the rescue organizations. He is the Brother in-law of one of my hunting partners, and a friend of mine. We don't take him hunting with us cause he is always trying to save the deer we just shot

Whatever you do enjoy you new Pup. Tucker or new White/Yellow male is going to be nine months in a few days and is still mostly interested in sniffing things out - very curious dog. Retrieves like a bandit in the house, outside - Well!
