i don't know if i'm over reacting or not,. i've been out of work for a while now and finaly i got some direction on what i want to do! asked my girl friend to come home after work to help me with my resume{ kind of stupid} so after work she goes and helps other people out for 2 hours! the only time i really needed her to be here for me and she blew me off. she says that i shouldn't be so upset but i am because i'm suppose to interview tomorrow! any help?

You called her to come over the day before the interview to get your resume done? How long did you know about this interview?

i foud out monday after noon, but i had my daughter, and had to take her out for holloween! by the time i got back she was sleeping! i know it was short term but she agreed. if i knew how to set the computer up i could of done it my self but this stuff is new to me,i guess by triing to get aroud these things all my life it's partly my faut?

Dont be mad at her...its a lesson learned. Its always best to line up your ducks and learn what you need to know before you need them lined up or known. Hmmm...sounded better in my head. Anyway, you get the idea.

Nahh. Girl friend shouldn't really be in the equation. IMO

I learned my resume' lesson the hard way too. I hadn't updated my resume in years. I was without a job for a while before needing one (of a sudden) as well and my friends just shook their heads and told me to get with it mon. The said I sould have had my resume updated before leaving my previous employer.

All I can say is, get with it mon!

Reading your post it sounds like you were/are waiting for a lead or a decision before making your resume. Your base resume should be complete and available for any employer at any time. You will then tailor your cover letter to the specific business you are targeting.

i made a bad husband twice! if i failed again i would most likely just walk off into the woods never to be heard from again. the only thing i've learned from the 2 big D's that no matter what, it's all my fault!!!!!!!!
