Re: Surf's up
It's time for our Coast Guard friends to do a little surfing with their Ferrari boat.

Re: Surf's up
We were just out for about two hours. The wind is blowing everything out (30 knots+), and its building. When we left the tips and buoy line it was about 14' with 16'+ on the larger series. Supposed to build through tomorrow. We were out doing a Surfman Check Ride for one of Heavy Weather Coxswains, He'll have his Oral Board on Monday and I expect to sign his Surfman Letter that afternoon. Four + years of running the bar (Yaquina Bay)to get this qualification, not counting his time at Cape D. R

Sounds like a certification well earned! Tell him congrats from all us guys who hope we never need him.
I'd rather just watch the videos, thank you very much.

Re: Surf's up
Gregg is my neighbor here in Hiouchi. He has a Grady White and called me many times to try tuna here. Unfortunately this season was bust for us and never got Gregg out. I have fished in Mexico with him and here locally on Smith and Rogue. I think he has 5 boats currently. Great guy and former comml fisherman with two boats knows offshore also. Hopefully pictures with Da Bull next season killing albies.
