Default Buttermilk Area Open?

I've heard a few guys have been hunting that area in lincoln county on 4-wheelers behind locked gates is this o.k.? Why have gates locked but allow 4-wheelers to go in? I'm not sure who even owns this area but would like a go or no go answer for I used to hunt this area before the gates were locked and I'm licking my chops after hearing about the big bucks they have gotten the last 2 years.

Just what I thought, everyone sneaks into this area and don't want to give a report! I guess I will see you guys in there next year.

I have an idea Plumb Creek owns it or I know simpson used to, but could be Starker.
What color are the gates? At any rate pretty sure if it's a closed locked gate, then only the property owners should be in there.
We hunted it years ago, and lots of bucks to be found, but I believe Publishers Paper owned it then, and it was open to hunt.
So, I'm pretty sure no-one from here is the culprit. Check with the local sherrifs office. I am pretty sure they know whos property it is, cause they most likely have been there a bunch of times.
We used to have kegs-O-beer there and partied with the Eddyville/Burntwoods crowd-------Awe the memories of the hills!
Good luck with that!
Happy Huntn'
