How has the sturgeon fishing today and yesterday at the mouth of the willy. Was thier a decent bite???

I fished the Punchbowl from daybreak until about 0845 and did nothing.

Pulled the hook at least a dozen times before I found fish but once I did find them it was steady action.

26 shakers, two keepers, and back on the trailer by 1500 hrs.

Smallest fish to the boat was better than 2ft long and six fish were close enough to make me stretch a tape.

44 degree, 70ft water, smelt in special sauce, upriver of St. Johns bridge was the ticket.
