Re: results for waterfowl for last weekend
Well
Buddy and I hit the lower columbia Sunday and we Had a blast started out slow but picked up . We ended the day with 10 drake mallard and 4 hens and 6 geese. the weather was perfect a little windy and the big water was choppy which brought the birds in to the back waters.
had a great time.

Re: results for waterfowl for last weekend
hunted 2 days (friday and saturday) down on the lower river. did good. had to work for the birds we got, but sometimes i prefer it that way. the challenge of getting out and finding them is sometimes more fun than the just sitting there and shooting them. lol.

Re: results for waterfowl for last weekend
I got out on the bay sat and sun, had some good shooting on sat, but sunday was a little slower.
Get ready for sheetwater in the farm fields, those puddlers are going to split from the lakes bays and rivers really quick.

Re: results for waterfowl for last weekend
i have always wanted to hunt on the columbia but i dont have a boat. i think that getting a mixed bagged over water would be so much fun. i would love to maybe work out a trade trip situation if you would be interested.

Re: results for waterfowl for last weekend
Here are the results for my weekend. Saturday 3 of us shot a limit of ducks and 3 geese and sunday 2 of us killed our limit of geese, mostly Tavs. It was a decent weekend but some of the ducks are starting to get a little stale. How'd everyone else do?

Sounds like things are going good. Dan you really missed out on Sunday. We wacked 20 birds and got to see a red collar. At one point we set down 3 to 4 hundred cacks in the dekes, it was a sight to see! Cody
