No fish in the Chetco

A few dark fish are coming out but the action is SLOW waiting for the rain.

That is suprising. I know they caught some huge ones during the derby. Didnt they just get like 61 pounder down there in the last couple of weeks?

Looks like we may get some rain at the end of the week. I can't wait we are coming over for a week when the river comes up. The Willie is ready to go .

CHETCO � Fall chinook fishing has been very good in the lower river up to the Highway Hole, with catches coming best with roe or anchovies. Trollers using Rogue Spinners in the bay also are doing well. Plenty of fish in the 40-pound range have been reported.
