Re: My son's first deer!!
You're welcome!!
Your link was chopping off the last portion of the image file name. I just went into the directory and found the full name.

Re: My son's first deer!!
I'd have to differ Alligator , this kids four years younger than I, and I started hunting five years ago, still haven't shot a deer or elk... sad huh! I think it's not getting one that keeps me coming back, anyone else know what it could be Haha, I used to think that I would hesitate to kill a deer or elk, because I'd feel bad, after all this time I think I'll shoot him twice for good measure.

My son's first deer!!
Well my 14 yr old son and I set our tent up @ Alder Glen CG on the Nestucca fri. then went hunting for either an anterless deer which we both had tags for or a buck which he has a tag for and put a grouse in the truck then @ 6:15pm he shot his first deer,by the time we found it and got back to the truck it 8:30,we also got pic's of a spike elk and 9 cows about 30 yrds away and of course when we got to the main road there was a 4 point buck standing there but it was dark out, then next morn I filled my tag as well, a weekend we will never forget!
