I wanna see..........
I wanna see pics of the blacktails killed today, because i know a few of you are most certainly going to make it happen today. Today has to be the best day of the season thus far this year weather wise, and i am stuck home all weekend with plans :depressed: I hope y'all put the  to some dandy's today, and i can just hope for this kind of weather next week as i will be out every day

I agree should be a great Blacktail weekend. Wish I could get away myself. The buck in my Sig line was Killed on Halloween 14 or 15 years ago on a day like this. Good luck to everyone who is getting to hunt this weekend.

Great Idea blscktail. FIredog. I'm new to ifish as of August 05 and glad to see your top blacktail.
Can't say for sure but it looks like a coast side or Willamette Valley Blacktail judging from the plants. Looks like it could be very close if not over the B&C minimum too.
But this week-end is what this thread is about. I'm obligated till Monday morning and then... I think I'm free till Friday.
Hope I don't walk into any gut piles out in any of my favorite hunting spots. Not too worried I've seen more cougar kills in the last 20 years (3 total) where I hunt in the Cascades than I've seen other peoples deer kill sites.

Here ya go.
Got my buddy Mike into his first deer today. One shot, easy pack. Good numbers of deer active today, of the 7 we saw 3 were bucks.
Passed on a really nice 3 point w/ massive eyeguards I wasn't willing to tag quite yet. I'd be curious to see how everyone else did.

Weather wise it was a perfect day. Shots being presented, now that is another story. Seen 6 bucks today (2-3's & 4 forkies, but I still blanked. If I could ever figure out how to make reprod just disappear with the click of my safety.

And yes Magnum, I would agree reprod is a bugger to hunt, but it sounds like you got into them today. I wish ya the best of luck these next few days.

Sounds like it was a perfect day for a lot of guys. The only day better than a good stormy day like this is a day with a little snow. Good job to all of thsoe that got deer today.
