World Record Whitetail
I read the story on ESPN, but this is the first picture I have seen. I am not sure if it is authentic or not, it was emailed to me by a friend.
Apparently shot by a boy, 15?, in Iowa with a muzzleloader.
I guess they will create a new B&C category - Freak!

Re: World Record Whitetail
I have shot a lot of white tails while growing up on three hundred acres in Alabama. I can honestly say I have seen some strange racks but never anything that would come close to that. Wow  It is not easy on the eyes and would look horrible in my den but I would have it mounted for novelty.

Re: World Record Whitetail
Looks like a part unicorn and part reindeer daddy did some teepee creeping with a part caribou and part mulie mommy and they conceived a freak whitetail
Interesting I guess

Re: World Record Whitetail
I wonder if it's a stag (whether, steer, gelding, etc.)? Their antlers never lose velvet and aren't shed, as I understand.
Maybe he was a buck until he got a little too close to a piece of farm machinery..???.. ??

Re: World Record Whitetail
What and unusual whitetail. The head looks like a cow more that a whitetail. I wonder what kind of a gene pole this animal came from. He really is a different looking buck. Look at his face and head. Does he look like any whitetail you've ever seen? His face is too full for a whitetail. Something is really genetically wrong with this buck. But he is truly a magnificant unusual buck.

Found this over the weekend. I guess the picture I posted isn't the Iowa buck shot by the kid. There is a picture of the Iowa buck just below the one I posted.
