Default Old to I Fish but never intro\'d properly

Back when I started reading I Fish and posting I did not realize we are to introduce ourselves --- SORRY!!! --- But here goes now --- 1st the handle " one ear dog" -- I have yellow lab who had his ear bitten off by mother during birth---I was raised in SE Idaho --- and learned to hunt and fish there ( I fished Henry's Fork river & Lake,Madison,Warm River,Little Wood,Big Lost,Camas creek,Silver Creek & more before they were legends) --- I work in construction as a superintendent for one of the area's larger contractors--- I was taught to flyfish and tie fies at about the age of 10-- and while I was serving my apprenticeship, I supplimented my income by tying flies--- But although I love to flyfish I am not a pureist I also love drift fishing for winter steelies -- I also like to archery hunt to the extent I have only hunted with sticks for the last 40 yrs--- lost my arrow & still looking----I am boat poor 18' alumaweld driftboat , 18' maxweld sled ,and a 14' wood drift boat that I made back in 71 --As you can probably tell I am not a good typist and my trade had me beating on my hands alot --so sorry on that account ---I find "I fish" very interesting and even when I disagree with some of the opions I really like hearing another side -- sometimes I even get converted to the other side --- so I hope this is received well as I really do not want to be rode out of "I Fish" on a rail--- Respectfully Submitted to "I Fish" from Jim Hammons

Jim, WELCOME ABOARD!

I really enjoyed your introduction. I'm 53 years old and have learned alot here on Ifish. I learned that I don't know as much as I once thought. So much for the I's. Glad to have you aboard.

Jim,

Welcome, you won't find a better bunch of folks who are great at sharing information. Best site on the net for fisherpersons! I've talked a number of these folks on the ocean, check out the salt dog section!
