Plus, you should take time to read some of Al's tech suggestions on this site. He writes very well and puts forth some important points about reel upkeep.

For those who don't know how to access all the other forums, quickly, there is a drop down menu in the lower right hand corner, with the words, "Go fish" beside it. Drop the menu down, and select "Reel Talk."
Or, simply click on this link!

Re: Al at Reelmeister.com does it again!
Thanks for the kudos, guys!
Although things are pretty busy right now, the big push will start right around March/April. So if you are going to need your reels in time for Sturgeon, Springers or Bottomfishing for Lings, now is as good a time as any to send 'em in.
I'll be at the Sportsman's Show next month (as an attendee, not an exhibitor) so if anyone wants to arrange to meet there and drop off your reels to save a few bucks on shipping, email me and we'll set it up.
Al

Re: Al at Reelmeister.com does it again!
With the flooding coming up, you'll have a couple weeks to get your reels cleaned.
Mine are done, so while you procratinated, and are waiting for yours to come back, I'll be catching springers and late run winters.
