Any Place to Sight-In on the East side?
Help - I have been out of town and missed all the public sight-ins at local ranges. Evidently, all the sight-ins are for deer hunters, not us late October/November Elk Hunters.
If anyone knows of a club/range available for sight-ins on the East side, or anywhere, please let me know. And, yes, I know I need to find a good club and join. I think I am ready.
Good hunting, drifter.

There's a rifle club on 224 that offers public sighting in. The next time I pass it I'll get more info for you.

Re: Any Place to Sight-In on the East side?
When you say East Side well if going through Bend Or out HWY 20 about 21 miles outside of Bend theres a range, 100 yards, or if the gate is open you can shoot out to 1000 yards.
It's on the left side of the HWY and a small sign that you can miss if not looking for it.
YOU DID SAY EAST SIDE!!!!!!!!!

I know the Estacada Gun Club offers public sight-in days and there's Douglas Ridge also out that way but I don't know if they are still doing them. I believe B.O.E. is a member at Douglas Ridge, you might try and contact him.

Re: Any Place to Sight-In on the East side?
Yes, both Douglas Ridge and Estacada "had" (being the operative word)public sight-in, but stopped about the first week in October. (I will be looking into both clubs for future membership. Any recommendations would be appreciated).
Yes, I am willing to travel, but Bend might be a stretch.
I have heard about a range, just off the first exit in The Dalles. Evidently, its an area used by locals. This might be an option on my way to the Keating Unit.
Thanks for any help you can give. Good Hunting. Drifter.
