Pheasants and Tatters

When I was getting hay this morning I was talking to some farmers about the shortage of pheasants. They thought it was something that was sprayed on the potatoes that killed off the birds . Anyone know more about this?

I've also heard that the herbicide on wheat seed poisons pheasants and causes thin egg shells.

In Ione they were talking about the same thing regarding the thin egg shells and then a tremendous series of powerful, large hail storms did significant damage to the bird's population.
