Default Kit's T-Bay Surprise (Pic's)

Just wanted to share my Dad's Hawg caught over the weekend. We had some nice sunshine and this monster decided he wanted my Dad's Red & white spinner. The fish was caught on the outgoing near low slack in 4 feet of water. What a battle it put on. We had to chase it a couple of times so it did not spool my Dad. It looked like Jaws out there finning around in the shallow water.

All in all we had a great day. We caught 5 fish and released one coho. The other fish look small compared to this monster. We put 103 lbs of fish in the boat (44,22,21,16). Let's just say we won't forget this day for a long time.

What a monster... Nice job Pop!!!!!!!

OK, after these reports, who is NOT going to be fishing T bay this week?

Congrats! What a gorgeous creature!

Hey, I told you guys you weren't just buying a boat but buying something only a few people have - MOJO That boat has always caught fish and will in the future. Should have held on to it

Congrats on an awesome day in Tilly and tell Pops to leave a few of the big ones down there for me.

I've driven by you guys on the highway a couple of times since I sold you the boat and it looks as good as the day she left the driveway at my house.

See you on the water!

Pearl

Hey Always,

I think there are only two ramps open that most people use. The one in Garibaldi and one in the upper bay at Memaloose. Do a search on old posts for directions to each.

Pearl,

Thanks for the Mojo. I'll make sure it does not go to my Dads head. He does now own the family record, 44lbs is a tough one to beat.

WOW! Thirteen inches across at the tail. That's quite a monster. Congrats on landing what might be a fish of a lifetime. There are pleny of anglers, including myself, who have never come close to landing a Chinook that big. Well done.
