While fishing spotted this across the river bank. no blood trails or marks..

can the ODFW remove it? so it doesnt get washed up when the river rises...

probaly got hit by a car wounded animals go to water. ODFW does not remove animals from waterways. yotes, crawdads, crows, vultures, and maybe a bear will feast on that keeper of a buck.

What a shame that guy's out of the gene pool. Ditto on the "hit by car" thought. They do say that far more deer are killed by cars than by hunters--mostly whitetails, I suppose.

Too bad , I would of liked to see him instead the forky i got this year, but oh well meat is meat. I think it is illegal to take the antlers , otherwise they would make a fine pair of ratteling antlers.

I'd be getting in touch of OSP and getting permission to remove the antlers. That is if someone else hasn't already done so.

Ok so I spoke with the wildlife biologist at ODFW tillamook office and the deer cannot be retained what so ever, no permission to remove antlers etc..

so that answers the question for anyone interested in retaining the antlers.

Thanks all.

I was told that you can't tag or take a road kill because there have been cases of people intentionaly hitting thropies with a car.
