Default Foster report 10/22

If you want to take a kid and catch lots of rainbows head to Foster. It was wide open all day long.

I took my pontoon boat and trolled a gold and orange rapala and caught and released 22 bows and then kept a 5 fish limit. I saw about 10 other boats and they were trolling the usuall gang trolls and everyone was catching them.

I prefer to fight the fish and not the gang troll so I was just flatlining my rapala. I did drag a super duper on a couple of passes and caught fish on that also.

I took a break from rowing/trolling and caught a dozen bluegill by the bridge on crappie jigs tipped with gulp redworm.

I was tied up preparing for my Daughter's Halloween style birthday party all day. I think we both spent the day rather rewardingly. Hey is that a word? Great post, Fishing vicariously is all I can do at this point.

I saw you in the drift boat.

I went today and caught 19. I got more of a workout because it was windy most of the day. There was a lot less people out there today compared to yesterday.
