Default Who's hunting elk tomorrow?

Will be headed out for the rifle elk season tomorrow in the southern Oregon Cascades. Looking forward to my first serious elk hunt in Oregon. Looking forward to a week of scenery and hiking.

Anyone going out be safe, have a good time, and please don't shoot the elk with the bright orange hatband because that's me.

I will be picking up my buddies 13 year old kid tonight after work and hauling him to elk camp. His dad took the day off to try and bed down an elk today

We will have stories to tell, with any luck they will entail packing heavy loads.

Wear your hard hats, could be some widow makers coming down with the wind. Not sure what the wind is forecast for in the Cascades but 40 knots sustained at the beach! :depressed:

I'm more worried about the 'widow-makers' that like to pop forest service gates and take sounds shots, but thanks for the warning...
