Offshore WX Forcast (21-23 Oct) Newport

Before you head out this weekend be sure to check the current and forecasted WX conditions. Right now we've got a "nice" low which will push through in the next 36 hours. Today (Thursday) and tomorrow morning may be the last of the nice weather you may see for about 5-7 days. If you plan on going out check out your boat equipment i.e. lifejackets; radios, gps... file a Float Plan, and check the current and forecasted bar conditions if you are going offshore. At least Saturday - Monday the Yaquina Bar will be cracking and I'm sure there will be a Restriction on the bar. Call Station Yaquina Bay for the current conditions/restrictions (541-265-5381/5511). WOW! looking at the forecast for Sat, Sun. 19ft.! Well...Depoe Bay's hole may be a little, let's say sloppy! :shocked: And I can imagine a restriction this weekend as well. Be safe.
