Do I have to join the NRA to sight in my gun?

I don't mean to start a political discussion here, but the two best rifle ranges in the Portland/Vancouver area require you to join the NRA in order to use their facilities. Does anyone know of a rifle range that has better facilities than English Pit that does not require an NRA membership?

Freak...the Jones Creek Area is free, but you do need to be careful and prudent.

I belong to Douglas Ridge Rifle Club, there are hunter sight in days that cost only $5 per gun. No NRA membership required

If you want to belong to a club, and one of the requirements of that club is to belong to the NRA, well, you either pony up your $35/year or dont join. :tongue:

You could always start your own club that had its own requirements.

I became a Life Member of the NRA (only $300 at the time) so that when they ****ed me off with compromises on gun control and one-sided politics I couldn�t quit. If you don�t like the NRA join and vote for or against the officers and directors.
