Default Big horn heart

A buddy of mine got his big horn this weekend, and he brought me the heart. I like deer and elk heart but never had big horn heart.Not something you have every day for dinner.anyone ever eat one before?

Yes I have.

Slice, season, flour, and fry. Some crispy taters to go with it. I ate mine on the mountain it was living on, so it probably tasted better than at home, but I like heart anyway.

If you like sheep, go for it. I am not particularly fond of any sheep! Just tastes like mutten' to me!

I do not like any sheep or lamb at all but I have to try it, its cooking as i type this, we will see?

Sheep are a very challenging and tough hunt. I really enjoy the challenge, but will pass on the meat taste and flavor!

O.K I ate the heart and It was great. I have yet to get the story , but I have a picture and have eaten the heart so that will get me by for awhile.
