Default What to do when???

We are making a drive over elk hunting last week. My father in law and grandfather in law go to sit on there stand. 4 of us go around about 2 miles away and start into the brush. We get about half way to dad and grandpa, and they radio us saying that there are 4 guys heading in right where they are sitting driving towards us. Dad and grandpa say to these guys hey we have 4 guys driving animals towards us from the direction you guys are going in. They say oh well it is a big forest, and it is public land so we will do what we want.
Well we met up with these guys a ways in and i made so much noise that there would be no more animals in the area. What would you do? We said nothing as they went between each one of us. Oh yeah muzzle loading elk season in WA.

I'd find a place where I could see and let them make a drive for me.

I have to agree with Keta. Rather than blow the whole hunt off, Take advantage of the other hunters making the drive. Would you just love shooting a animal they pushed out????/

Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do. I would have to guess that once they were done, they shared their frustrations with 'their' guys on stand, having just plowed through an area your guys had already been through.

Roll with the punches.

As someone stated in an earlier post, we get frustrated that there are so many others sharing 'our' hunting spots. Unfortunately, we still need even more if we are to protect this great privilege.
