Default Pheasant huning portland/vancouver

Can any one recomend a place that would be close to portland / vancouver to take two kids on their
first hunt. I'm talking a place where they plant the birds for you. Needs to be somthing reasonable. I want them to get some shooting, with no pressure.
Thanks
Pete

Are you talking release sites? If so in Vancouver, there is Vancouver Lake wildlife area, and Shillipoo release site. They both recieve bird plants, and are pretty easy walking hunts. If you mean Bird Farm hunts, I have never done one, sorry.

Metro Pheasants in Canby? They are supposed to be pretty good. Never done it myself though. Let me know how it went if you go.

I did a hunt with them it was Okay, but the dog liked it. Always by the fully feathered birds, don't ever buy the ones that havd had their tailfeathers plucked for files, I have shot at heilum balloons that were more challenging than them. Also you can get hens and they are way cheaper..

They are closed down. The guy that was running it
started his own TV show. Have to look else where.

There are some advertised in the hunting regs, but I don't know of any close to town. Been to Olex and it was OK, but that's a long ride.
