Default Trailer "Dolly?"

I've seen ad's for such a beast in the past in magazines, and now I need one but can't find one of those ads - so I'm wondering if anyone else has any info on this critter. The best I can describe it is - it's a two wheel affair like a hand truck, but it has a trailer ball on it - designed to slide under the trailer tongue, push down on the handles and you can maneuver the trailer around by hand. Anybody seen or heard of something like this? Thanks for info in advance guys!

Jim

Place in Medford called Harbor Freight has them for about 40.00 . They work fine for single axle trailers but if you have a dual axle trailer a straight line is about the only movement that is allowed. Belive this is a chain outlet so should be one near you .

You can get them with electric motors for bigger rigs ... DC or AC. I've never used one. Try a web search using 'electric trailer dolly.

We bought ours at Harbor Freight and we love it. We have to hand truck one of our boats into the garage because it's such a tight fit and the dolly works like a charm.

My dad just bought one for his boat. I tried it out and found that it worked great. He got his at Harbor Freight for something around $40.

Harbor Freight has 2 models. The $100 one is the way to go.

I am sitting here with the Habor Freight catalog that came yesterday. Pages 37 & 38 show trailer dollies.

250 lbs tongue weight for $30 and 600 lbs tongue weight for $70

The catolog says these are catalog and internet only (whatever that means).
